Today I went to pay for my part of the eyelid surgery. So, on my own words, the eyelids are now mine
I was very happy because the health insurance paid for 90% of the surgery. I didn´t know anything about this before so I thought it was considered aesthetic surgery (and the insurance would not pay a dime). But after I started talking to people about this, it seems that it is fairly common after a certain age and it hinders sight.
Anyway, today I went to the hospital, paid the 10% of the surgery (the hospital charged the health insurance company) and there´s nothing else to do buy enjoy

They don´t cover much in many skin problems saying that it is only beauty. But this has to do with sight so they do.

@LadyDuck Here too. Now they have special machines that check whether the surgery is really needed.

I'm glad that they covered that much... that's pretty impressive. Hospitals can charge by the bandaid if they want to!!

I call it a miracle. For other more important surgeries, the insurance hasn´t covered that much.
