Will you buy a phone card when you travel abroad? / myLot

I always buy a phone card when we travel abroad. In fact calling is not much important when we are abroad. It is important as we can use the internet connection to keep in with others and we can use Google Maps, Google translate and some other apps. The internect connection charge will be rather expensive if I use my Chinese phone card and this is why I will buy a local phone card. My phone can use two sim cards and it doesn't matter.

@youless Yes because it is already programmed in that country that I am in so it is easy to use.

I remember buying a phone card when I was in Bangkok and in Malaysia but I still used my roaming service phone sometimes.

I used my laptop and the Internet connection in the apartment of my mother when I stayed several days in Italy. As we do not travel long distance anymore, I do not need the Internet if we stay away a couple of days.

@youless I do not feel the need to be connected to the Internet when I travel. I like to forget about the virtual world for a few days.
