Thought I'd lost my mind there for a while

For almost an hour today, I kept hearing voices. They were low and at times I thought maybe it was a chair or table that made a little noise when I bumped it. It was very unnerving and I thought, "Good heavens, am I hearing voices and losing my mind???" After a while, I looked at my cell phone and saw my husband's photo and name. I thought he was calling me, but when I answered, I could hear him in the background. Turns out, when he called me an hour before, neither of us hung up the phone! We were still technically on a call! Well. At least I'm not losing my mind completely. Not yet, anyway. Sure am glad we have unlimited talk and text on our phones.

Wow, I hadn't thought about that! Glad I wasn't fooling around with a 30 year old hottie. But my husband's my "hottie" even if neither of us are 30!

That would have been terrible if we didn't have unlimited talk.

(I am hopeless with my cell phone. Things happened in the past, and I had no clue why the phone talked or making certain noise, or why a certain number was dialled. My children just shook their heads and said, 'mom..!!!'

I was glad to know the voices I was hearing were actual voices and not just in my head!

Heh. You had me going there. Especially with the troubled neighbor I've been dealing with. Glad to know you're at least somewhat sane. Time to go play with my pet unicorn.

Unlimited talk and text do come in handy when we think we are losing our mind. Join the club!

I think we've all done that before. And yes at least now most have unlimited so it is not a bother per sey. Just can be annoying

This would be very unnerving. I've had something similar but it turned out to be a radio turned very low in another room so I was only hearing bits and pieces.
