The house concert is over and went off very well. Although we call them house-concerts they are actually held outside. We were lucky that the rain cleared up by the Sunday night. We had about 120 people. One hundred is supposed to be our limit but no-one checks so we don’t worry about a few over. We rarely get up to 100 people but Eric Bogle is one of our biggest drawcards. For many years his main support has been a man called John Munro. John was an incredible mandolin player but also sang harmony and guitar. Unfortunately he passed away in June last year. The thing I like least about growing "older" is losing friends. Enjoyed the song and left a comment.

John was the consummate musician. It is really sad. That was nice of you to leave a comment. I'd better go check on it.
