I really wanted to see the movie A Quiet Place. It was available on cable but for some reason I no longer have the channel it is airing on. Must have been a promo trial of it that has expired. Not being able to watch it on TV I decided to see if it's available on netflix.com but it wasn't there. I was really bummed about not being able to see the movie but then it hit me to try the library as you can borrow DVDs there. I went to the library right away and that movie was available to borrow. I also took out Black Panther as I hadn't see it yet. Both movies were great! Glad I remembered that you can borrow DVDs from the library. I get to see movies I really wanna watch and I don't have to spend any money, unless I return the DVDs late. That's a win-win! Can you borrow DVDs from your library?

How long do people borrow them for? Here it's usually for one week.

Yes we can borrow movies from our library, but with all the excess channels we have, many times we just wait for them to be available for Free. I am not sure if I have seen a Quiet place or not. Maybe it is one I should check on if I have not.

Not all movies may be available though, so being able to borrow from the library is a great option to have.

I am happy they have this option. Not all movies are available on cable or netflix to watch.

Sometimes I think our library has more DVDs than books! But it's good that you can borrow them for free.

That'd be strange if there were way more DVDs than books in the library. But good that you can borrow DVDs without spending money. Glad I remembered this... Gonna borrow DVDs more often now.

Pretty much every library has this option. However... The amount of selections that you have to watch, depends upon the donations they receive from the community.

Can you borrow from any library or only your local one?

@lovebuglena - As long as it is in the same county, you can get them at any library. You also do not have to return them to the same library, you checked them out in.
