A day in the sun on horseback

Vince is busy processing photos from the endurance (horse) ride that we attended yesterday. I liked this one as it shows happy horses and riders enjoying a day in the sunshine. The dirt roads through the bush make for some enjoyable riding and there is very little traffic on the roads chosen for the riders.
Most of the riders are female with no young men riding at all. There were two young people who each completed 40km while about twenty rode 80km. There were just over 80 entries. I’ll be gone now till Tuesday so don’t get up to any mischief while I’m gone.

@SophiaMorros Yes, they did. The riders could barely raise a trot! The horses seemed much fitter. :)

Oh! That sounds like fun. Riding a horseback in a sunny day on those dirt roads.. All sounds fun filled adventure.
40km and 80 kms are long stretches.
Will wait for you to come back. And trust me I am to no mischief at your back..

The one who does the distance in the fastest time is the winner but only if his/her horse passes the vet check. There are several weight divisions too - heavyweight, middleweight and lightweight.
