I Lost My Will Power For A Split Second

My brother and I started a diet (yet again) a week ago Monday. He lost 9 pounds and I lost 7. We haven't been on it long but I was doing so good...until. I went to look in the freezer to see if there was anything there I could have for lunch When there it was, a bag of pizza slices from the last time we had pizza.
Well, I quickly closed the freezer door and came back to mylot. Suddenly that pizza started calling my name over and over again. I stood firm for about 30 minutes but finally gave in. I ate 2 pieces of thin sliced pizza from Dominos.
Now I am feeling a little bit guilty and I'm hoping that one meal won't mess everything up. But if it does, it's my own fault. I just really don't want to tell my brother when he comes home that I cheated.
Have you ever had a certain food that you love call your name and not leave you alone until you gave in?

You did well lasting 30 minutes!
I can't have anything that I don't want to eat in my apartment as it calls me and I can't ignore the call.

@simone10 You are better than me. I have always had weak willpower when it comes to foods that I should limit so it is best that I don't bring it home.

Go for a walk. Take thirty minutes and walk a block or two.
I really need to go walking more but I haven't...

@simone10 Do you use a step counter? I have found that to be encouraging for me.
I will also "invent" things for me to do if there is nothing for me to accomplish. For instance, I might go down the hall and turn on the kettle (electric) before coming back down the hall, seeing to my morning bathroom necessities and then grabbing my tea cup from my room. I used to just stand and wait in the kitchen, now I purposefully make more chores for me to do.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I try and do the same thing. I do have something that keeps up with steps but I have to find it.

For me, such foods consist of staples in my native New Orleans. If you're talking desert items, it's usually sno-balls, beignets, or king cake (traditionally served during Epiphany season). Entree items for me would be things like PopEye's, or poboys.
In terms of diet, I try to follow the 90/10 rule. Basically if I am eating healthy 90% of the time, then I'll allow myself a treat of some sort, usually on weekends or special occasions.
No need to feel guilty about an occasional cheat day! We all need them sometimes IMHO!

Pizza always calls out to me. Sometimes you just got to live a little or should I say "eat."

It is good to lose weight but the important part is to find a way to keep it off. Congrats on losing 7 and your brother losing 10. I do not think one meal will not mess you up. If you ate more than two slices then I would say not good. I like pizza but I only eat one slice at a time and eat very little with it. I really not sure if there is a food calling me maybe sweets but I try to eat little bits of it.

I love pizza but haven't had any in 2 years. For me it's not about the weight although I'm fat, it's about the leg cramps I get when I eat non organic foods.
