I worked today. Not in the easy room, but the very challenging room. Hubby did stuff around the house. He did not know what we wanted to eat, but he did know that he needed something before bowling. I bought a huge bag of fish sticks some time ago. Never again. We eat them, though. So hubby cooked fish sticks, and hash brown patties. I added some apple sauce. He made tartar sauce. We had ice cream for dessert, and it was very yummy. We get a brand in our Kroger stores called Turkey Hill, and we like it a lot. This flavor was chocolate peanut butter cup. We have purchased different peanut butter cup ice creams of different brands, but this is by far the best. BIG chunks of peanut butter cups in chocolate ice cream. We will buy this kind again.

@GardenGerty Sometimes, you need to eat what you crave. You've had a hard few days. I probably would have binged on something in your situation. I'd regret it, but I'd enjoy it.

I haven't bought fish sticks in ages. I wonder if I would like any that are in the grocers The only ice cream I like if I happen to have a sweet tooth is Jamoca

We do not like fish sticks anymore, it's something we liked when we were kids. I think we had enough of them, they are not even really healthy. I made a vanilla ice cream, we like a little ice cream after dinner.

I originally bought them to roll in tortillas for fish tacos. I had not bought any in years. Probably will not buy them again.

@GardenGerty I am doing good in avoiding bread and carbs recently. We are eating more vegetables, steamed or simply sauteed in a pan with very little olive oil.
