Ding Dong, Scammer Calling

My phone has been ringing a lot lately. Microsoft says that my computer is dangerous and sending out malware and viruses.
The next call says that my Apple Account is in danger and I must cease all activity on it. Great, I don't have anything Apple.
Then, the IRS calls. I am in big trouble unless I send money immediately. This has to be done by Western Union or gift cards.
They are all scammers and they are destroying the good names of companies.
What kinds of scam calls do you get?

I pretty much get those same calls as well. I get at least 2-3 scam calls per day. I don't answer them, and I always end up blocking the number. My favorite one though is when I get a voicemail message and the caller is speaking Chinese to me. Like how am I supposed to know what they are saying? I actually played one of those voicemail messages to a Chinese friend of mine, and she said they were telling me that if I didn't call them back right away about my credit card transactions, they were going to have the police arrest me. It's so laughable it's not even funny!

@akalinus Haha, should I be scared because I was told in Chinese that the police are after me? lol
Or maybe it's a Chinese triad gang! Maybe they are coming to get me! I better keep my eye out for suspicious looking dudes!

my mom and I both get scam calls daily. and with our phone company, the calls actually come up as 'scam likely' so we know not to answer them

@Courtlynn Unfortunately, I have a landline with people calling all the time. If I get one real call a day, I am lucky.

@akalinus I don't have to go through my phone company to block. I have the option on my phone, and I have probably over a hundred blocked.

We don't get many scam calls. The last one was a computer scam. The woman offered to help us with our computer problem. We always hang up immediately, so we didn't find out how she intented to "help" us...
I know that there are some Visa card related phone scams in my country at the moment, but so far they didn't call us.

@akalinus I expected something like that. My friend was contacted by someone who offered her free antivirus protection. Unfortunately she accepted and gave them access to her computer
