Mother always has a role.

Today I was asked to babysit my grandchildren at Claudia´s. I obliged. But when Claudia came home from work she was tired and worried so that she also needed her mom to listen to her, give her advice and cuddle her. No matter old old we are, we are in need of our mom. And no matter how old our children are, we are not retired from the mommy job. Claudia asked me to go with her to the doctor on Monday. She is afraid. And shed rather have me go with her than to have her husband-psychiatrist go with her. After all, he accepted some months ago the verdict of another doctor that all that Claudia had in her shoulder was stress. Today I touched her shoulder, listened to the way the bones sounded and said that this was not stress. On Monday she will finally go to the best hospital we have for trauma patients. Mother knows best.

I hope they find out the problem with her shoulder and she gets relief from the pain soon. Yes, a mother's job is never done.

After I checked, I think she is in for surgery. The bones rattle inside her shoulder.

I´m glad she asked me to go with her. I touched and saw her shoulder and although I´m no doctor I have common sense. There´s something wrong beyond stress there. I think that Claudia is in for surgery at some point.

You are so right to say that no matter how old we get, we need our mother. Though I am a mother and keep caring for my children and solving their issues, I always turn to my mom for all my problems. I feel Mom knows best. Hope Claudia feels well soon.

It's very true that we never retire from being a mom. And vice versa should apply too - children should not forget their moms no matter how old they are.

I grew up with my mother not being on my side. I grew up with my grandma together with my older sisters. But having a mother is really important. As for me, I usually ask advice from my sisters

Mothers could really comfort their children, no matter the age; just like your daughter who needs your support in her medical condition. I hope she'll be fine.
