Usually I will cook dinner. But tonight I decided to have a Marie Callender's turkey pot pie. I have had them in the freezer for a couple of weeks, so I need to cook them.
Homemade is always the best way to go. But sometimes frozen is not so bad. I enjoy Marie Callender's brand of food. It is almost ready, so off I go to make some iced tea to go with dinner.
Anything special for dinner? Have a great evening everyone.

We have never bought that brand but I do buy Aldis and Walmart brand of pot pies to my son. Which reminds me I need to add them to my grocery list so I am glad I saw this. Right now I am waiting for a new recipe to finish cooking. It's for Twice Baked Sweet potatoes.

@CarolDM these were okay but I wouldn't make them again I don't think. My daughter however loved them. You take to mashed sweet potato out and mix it with cinnamon, nutmeg, cream cheese and butter then put it back in and bake it longer. Then top it with butter, a sprinkle of cinnamon and pecans.

I have had those a time or two, but I wouldn't buy them unless they were on sale. They cost twice as much as a standard pot pie. I had tacos last night. Tonight I think I am going to make a stuffed baked potato unless I have to do my shop.

@CarolDM Oh they are, but they have even more calories I think. I don't have those stuffed baked potatoes very often, but I had one at Wendy's on the way home from the trip..and it was so good I bought some russet potatoes at the store. Actually, you posted the box..I guess MC doesn't have more calories, maybe less.

Yes these were on sale. I don't them often but enjoy them when I do. But when they are on sale they are just right. And so much better than Banquet. No comparison in my opinion. I had a baked potato the others night and it was so good. I have them often.

I really like Marie Callender's turkey, chicken and beef pot pies. It is good quality, good taste and quite filling.

I love their chicken pot pies. They are my favorite. I made green beans, pork chops and garlic shells. I was on here while I was eating.

Looks good. I was meaning to try that brand. It's probably better than the Banquet brand. I would like to try to make them home made.
Nothing special tonight-felt too lazy to really cook so bought some macaroni & potato salads at the deli and fried up some hot dogs and made pork & beans. Quick dinner.

Frozen food though not so good for health come handy during emergency and when there is no mood to cook. Enjoy your meal.
I had a well spread Bengali meal in dinner last night. It was my foster daughter wedding. Right now I am having coffee in train. We are on our way back. The veg meal served by the train was delicious.

So, you just microwave them , for how many minutes?
There are talks that microwaved foods are hazardous to health. I hope it's not true because I always reheat leftover foods in the microwave.
