I am . . . EXHAUSTED

This was a fun and interesting day, and I will write about the field trip, perhaps tomorrow. We rode a bumpy bus for 50 minutes to then get on an excursion train (also bumpy) for a ride and informative visit with a volunteer for an hour. After the train we drove to the Eisenhower Park to have our sack lunches and play. That was about two hours. Our trip to the Heritage Museum was at 1:30. Because it was a guided tour that culminated in a ride on an antique carousel, we had an appointment there. This is a popular destination for area field trips and to fairly accommodate all, you must call and schedule visits. Then, of course, we had the 50 minute bumpy bus ride back to the school. How bumpy was it----Well my fitness tracker was recording the bumps as steps. This is not the fault of the driver, nor the condition of the bus. It is the result of driving on rural highways and crossing many train tracks. I drove twenty five minutes home. Parked in the driveway, and fell asleep for a half hour. I could barely stay awake long enough to put our evening meal together. The work week has taken its toll on me. Mainly because I wake up early out of concern that I will over sleep. I think I am headed for another nap, but I needed to check my suggestions and notifications before I did so.
