Kentucky Derby

Good morning all! I hope everyone is doing okay today. I'm going through my notifications and I'm going to do some reading and commenting. After that, I will be watching the Kentucky Derby on TV.
I would love to go just one time to see what it's like. I'm not sure I would want to be in big crowds though. It's supposed to rain so I am glad that I won't be there today. It's fun to watch and see some of the attire people will wear from hats to crazy clothes and colors. A lot of celebrities come to the Kentucky Derby so that will be interesting to watch.
So, what do you have planned today? Anything fun? I hope everyone has a wonderful day and a great weekend!

I, too, would love to go to the Kentucky Derby, but instead I am in Dallas this weekend for a paintball tournament. It is pouring down rain here too, and it rained on us all day yesterday as well. Our game fields are as muddy as the track the horses will be running on today! LOL

@simone10 The rain didn't cause any delays, because we have to play rain or shine. But the lightning did cause some delays. They won't play if there's lightning. We also had one delay due to a tornado warning, but thankfully no tornado materialized.

Would be fantastic to see. I think it's near Lexington. Right? I lived there for about a year when I was around 12 yrs. old.

I am not fond of horse and dog races. I'm glad you are having a great time watching the Kentucky Derby. Did you bet on a particular horse? I hope it won! :-)

@LowRiderX it would be pretty boring for me and my brother to just stare at each other at night. Plus, being disabled, I am home alone most of the time.

I visited Kentucky once and have a vague memory of watching the Kentucky Derby on TV. My weekend is slow. No plans.
