Such a classic line from a great actor in Clark Gable. And in my view, she deserved it! Here is another line I really like from Humphrey Bogart to Ingrid Bergman "Here's looking at you, kid." - Casablanca

@jujunme Yes, jujunme, Tom Hanks is great and has so many funny movie quotes. If you remember when Chief Brody is trying to shoot Jaws at the end he famously says "smile you son of a bittc#

Oh dear. There's so many good ones. Near the top of my list From "Blade Runner"
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to navigation Jump to search In the film "Blade Runner" "C-beam" redirects here. For steel beams with a C-shaped cross-section, see structural channel. "Tears in rain" (also known as the "C-Beams Speech")[1] is a

@dgobucks226 Oh wow. It's one of my favorites, highly recommend. Though you're right, better from the beginning. Actually it's a little confusing even from the beginning. Rutger Hauer is awesome. I thought he did well in the remake of "Posideon Adventure" and … I cant think of the name of it now, but there's a movie where he plays mind games with a much younger man who is his caregiver

@FayeHazel I'm going to give Blade Runner another shot from the beginning. I remember Kevin Costner in Waterworld and really did not like that one. I usually like sci-fi though so we will see...

I may be one of the only people who have never watched Blade Runner. I've seen a scene or two for about 2 minutes when it plays on TV but that is about it. Just didn't make me want to watch. Maybe if I had caught it from the beginning... I do like Rutger Hauer saw him in The Hitcher and he played a great villain.

Oh yes great movies. Jerry Maguire, Poltergeist, and Karate Kid. A trifecta of really good quotes Carol Here's another good one from Jerry Maguire- "You had me at hello." And of course movie watchers remember this one- "ET phone home." ET

My favorite line is from The Ten Commandments, when Pharaoh returns, defeated, his army wiped out, and says, "His God IS God." In baseball season I quote "Juuuuuuuust a bit outside" from Major League a lot. And a sneaky one, from Casablanca. A film that is known for so many great lines has one that makes me laugh, and it just sneaks in. When Louis says he has his "orders" to keep Victor Lazlo in Casablanca Rick quips, "Oh, I see. Gestapo spanks."

Pharaoh knows! Understated but yet a very powerful comment As a huge baseball fan love that one from Bob Uecker. And this one- “C’mon, Dorn! Get in front of the damn ball! Don’t give me this ‘¡Olé!’ bull...!” So many good quotes you could do a series just on that movie, lol. A quote from Casablanca, enough said

"I'll be back"!. The one I like "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse.” it is so "Italian". and “Play it, Sam. Play 'As Time Goes By.'” (Casablanca, 1942 - my favorite all time movie).

@dgobucks226 I have seen many films with Tom Hanks, but not Forrest Gump. I do not know how many times I have watched Casablanca, I usually do once a year. I love that movie.

@LadyDuck Yes, I've seen many of Hank's movies too. Some of my favorites were Cast Away, The Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan and Captain Phillips. He has had some really good roles. Bogart has been in so many classic movies with many great leading ladies. The African Queen, and of course his movies with Lauren Bacall.

A Marlon Brando classic from The Godfather. That is a really good one! Casablanca has so many great quotes. Love this one from Bogie- "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine." Here's one I like from Forrest Gump- "Life is a box of chocolates, Forrest. You never know what you're gonna get." Sally Field to Tom Hanks

I have lots of favorites. All the ones you mentioned plus many more. I didn't look at the list of 50, so I don't know if this one is on it but it's also one of my favorites, "You probably heard we ain't in the prisoner-takin' business; we in the killin' Nazi business. And cousin, business is a-boomin'."

Ah Inglourious Basterds. A classic flick directed by Quentin Tarantino. Can you Americans speak any other language besides English? Another great line from character Bridget Von Hammersmark. Here's one from another military themed picture from Jack Nicholson: “You can't handle the truth!” A Few Good Men...

I might never have seen the Clint Eastwood movie, but I do know the quote. I know all of them. Now had you made that a quiz, I would have gotten them right. Yep, that'll do it. From Stand and Deliver. I forget the actor's name, but he played on Babylon 5 I think.

It's funny how famous movie quotes become in a way part of popular culture. Oh, yes did not remember that but loved the movie with Edward James Olmos as the LA high school teacher. How he motivated those students was truly inspirational. Not a bad idea about movie quotes as a quiz
