Here I Am!

I disappeared for several days, but here I am again. We spent a long weekend in Miami with friends and returned late last night.
Lots of things going on in our family.
*Yesterday was our older son’s wedding anniversary.
*Our younger son’s wife attended a conference and spent two nights away from him.
*I’m loaded down with laundry.
*We have no food in the house.
*We are both exhausted and decided to skip the gym today.

Hello again and welcome back! 
I had a nice weekend, I used the last two weeks to gain some weight, I dedicated most of my time to eating 
. Gained about 6 pounds, 44 to go 
.
Today I'll get back to gym, I focus on power lifting because I'm very skinny and I want to get stronger (one month ago I could barely do squats with 40 pounds on my shoulders).
Not much happening in my life, just living and enjoying the simple things 
.

I did notice that you had not been here for a while . . . I figured you had been busy doing something fun 
. Happy anniversary to your son! I'm getting a bunch of chores/errands done today . . . I haven't felt like roaming around town lately. Laundry, cleaning, and cooking time for me! Doodles looks lovely against that blue

@DianneN Too much do in real life - and too much to do here . And people like me don't help because as soon as you get rid of a notification, we keep giving you more 
. I got a lot done yesterday, and I intend to do more today. Ohhhh, how did your green beans turn out? I want to grow some!

@much2say I suppose it's better to get notifications than not. 
The green beans were delicious of course. lol I used to grow my own and the kids snapped them right off the plants and ate them raw. They do grow very well. I hope you do grow some.

I appreciate your noticing my absence. I should have written a post stating our mini vacay, but as usual, I was behind in notifications and didn't want more. 
Many thanks, and know you are not alone in laundry, cleaning, and cooking. I bought some fresh from the garden green beans and will make them using my special recipe for hubs tonight.

I wondered what happened to you. If I didn't see you here today, I was going to look for you on FB. I'm glad things are going well for you and you haven't fallen off the planet.
Doodles looks comfortable. I love the way he knows his daddy is taking a picture of him.
I've been doing well.

I'm rarely on Facebook anymore, but thanks for wondering. I didn't even post one photo of Miami on FB. It's no one's business where I am or what I'm doing. Some people are very touchy.

pretty picture. I finished reading Pet Sematary and I thought I wouldn't have anything to read. I kept having to put books on hold until today. Two books came available. So I'm loaded down with books. lol I thought I could do Instacart to get some cat food, but they won't take my prepaid gift cards. And I want to see the remake of Pet Sematary for Mother's Day and no one has it.

We're looking forward to a home cooked meal. All we did was eat every meal out in Miami. Besides, I bought farm fresh green beans today and am itching to use them in my special recipe. My husband loves them that way only.
