This is a picture of Amyra, Hudson, and me today at lunch. My sister and brother-in-law brought them here to go to church with us, and we went to lunch afterward. Actually, my sister spoke at church today, and she did a good job. Some of her memories are not accurate, but maybe that's how she remembers it. At least I tell myself that.
I asked Amyra if she enjoyed Sunday school (church for the little ones while the sermon goes on), and she said, "Yes, and the best part is I got to meet new people!"
How was your day?

The older I get the more often I find that I remember things one way, others another way. I am glad you had a good visit, though.

What a tender, loving photo of the 3 of you. I do hope that you frame this one, its a keeper.
I think that one of the very best part of a memory is that it is our won. And quite often it involves emotions, again, which belong to us alone. So, that is probably why her rendition of the past differs from yours.

That's a cute photo of the three of you!
My brother and I will often reminisce about our childhood, and it's so funny that we'll have completely different recollections of the same events in our youth. Just goes to show how things can be seen completely different depending on one's point of view and perspective.

next to hudson, it seems like amyra had a growth spurt. and still fashionable, model material. i agree about having this picture framed.

Each of us remembers things differently. When my brothers and I talk about events from our childhood I often think are we are not talking about the same time but we are.

I'm sorry she didn't get whatever it was, accurate, but like you said, maybe it's how she remembers it. As some do say that's a thing.
I'm glad you were able to spend some time with them all, either way.
My Sunday was sad, boring, wet, and tiring.

Ahhh cute kids. And you are so beautiful, Amber.
I think that's a good way to deal with it. Your sister's ah - discrepancies. Maybe she really does remember it like she said. It's so hard to say with other people.
Little Amyra will be a people person I think

It is nice that you had a good visit. Family is so important, isn't it?
We spend as much of our time with family on Sunday as we can.

Impressed that she likes to meet new people. I know from talking to my siblings through the years that we don't or didn't always look at the same situation in life the same way. My sister used to think my mom was controlling when she wanted to put ribbons in out girls. I never saw it that way.
