Ready For A Night On the Town

It is not often that I dress up. But from time to time I just decide what the hell? Taking Mom out to dinner tonight to a fancy Italian restaurant in St. Louis for mother's day. We will be there with my wife of course, as well as my mom, my sister and brother in law, and my brother in law's mom.
I will be buying my mom's dinner as well as my sister's, and of course my wife's.
Should be fun. I have to admit, I won't be able to wait to get out of these "fancy" clothes and put my pajamas on.
I am not sure I am COMFORTABLE, but hopefully I look good.

@WiseGhots Hmm. I have not been told that. Someone once suggested I kind of looked like Ethan Hawke. I hope Simon Pegg is a compliment. 
But I guess I could see the Sion Pegg thing.

Glad that the dinner was to your liking!! We have had a few bad experiences when it comes to Mother's Day Dinners so we avoid it at all costs and choose a Sunday a few weeks later. I think that expensive kind of goes with the territory ;) And you look great btw!

AND I hate dressing up. It does make it a bit more comfortable that nowadays it is perfectly acceptable to wear a suit jacket with a pair of nice jeans. I am very comfortable in jeans. Still hate the feeling of a tucked in shirt though. I suffered it well, I hope.

Well sometimes it is fun to dress up/ wear "fancy" clothes! Hope you had a great time...and that is very nice of you to buy their meals!

@MommyOfEli2013 Does it have to be though? Does it? I just always hope at least I pull it off well enough. I mean, does a troll look good even if he puts a suit jacket on?

Thanks very much. It's not often I schnazz it up you know. Had a great time with all and it was worth suffering a little having to dress up. Besides, I am CHEAP as you know. I like to make use of stuff, and this is the same suit jacket I was married in 12 years ago. I suppose I should be equally happy it still fits.

i love pinstripes!
i guess if you were wearing dress pants, formal shoes and a tie, that would be really uncomfortable.
