Hot Weather in Georgia

Yesterday was the hottest day we've ever had in Georgia, at least that's what the weather forecaster said. I'm not sure if it was only in our area or if it included all of Georgia. It was a hot day. We drove up hiway I75 with barely moving traffic. Road work was going on but mainly the road was packed with huge trucks.
I haven't listened to the forecast today but it still feels just as hot to me.I couldn't get up the nerve to go out to walk today. I should have but I worked in the apartment and have everything all spiffied up for the weekend. I think I'll walk in the morning before the sun comes up.

When it is that hot, it is best to be out very early, I know you love to walk but walking in the heat is bad in so many ways.

Our mirror in the truck said 104 degrees here yesterday! It was HOT. Today was also hot just not quite as severe I don't think. Phew-I am ready for Fall!

@CookieMonster46 Our thunder storm came in yesterday evening with strong wind, rain and power outages but it's hot and sunny again today.

oh dear, heat waves, earthquakes, flash floods/floods, tornadoes 'n large hail. i hope all those who kept wishin' fer spring're happy.
yes ma'am, if'n ya go fer a stroll, i'd do such'n the early hours. regardless, please take plenty 'f water with ya. 'n be safe!

Sorry to hear about the hot weather, I can imagine how difficult that is to deal with! Here it has been rainy for almost a week....and it will be rainy for at least 4 more days!

Just returned from breach it Florida. It was 100 most days, but with the breeze, we did not mind.
Think it will be a hot summer in NC this year.
