An English Muffin Woke Me Up

Good morning from my little part of the world!
My husband awoke before I did this morning much earlier than usual. The smell of his breakfast, a toasted English muffin and the aroma of coffee, reached me in bed. That aroma traveled all the way down the hall, took a right turn, then a sharp left, and woke me up immediately.
Now he’s busy making me breakfast. After I eat it, I will ice my back, then heat it, and do my exercises. I may need a nap, too.

lol I have a very good visual of that scent working its way into the bedroom. I was awoken by a text from my daughter at 5:15 and last night her husband texted me from the hospital at 1:02 am so you get an idea how much sleep I got especially snuggled between the two little dogs and the hubs lol!! I see a nap in my future. So far I have had a cup of coffee, I think I will have fried eggs when Al gets up. Kasey and I are planning a little retail therapy today and lunch at Max Amore which is closing at the end of June

@DianneN, of course, your back pain is no joking matter but I had an amusing thought just the same I sure hope your back is much better when you return up North but if you need to have a special massage perhaps you can picture yourself lying face down with Doodles walking upon your back, just saying
