Yes. You know it. I know it. It seems to be the trend around the world. Are you one of the lucky ones not to have rain? What's the weather like where you are if it's not raining?
Are you doing anything special on this Memorial Day holiday if you live in the US? As for me, I got 9.5 hours of sleep last night and still took a nap. Not long, but it got rid of the cobwebs floating around my brain. Watched a new series, for me, on Netflix and worked on a book. Now I'm back here.
For the rest of the world, how was your day, any special plans?
Are you remembering any loved ones who served in the military and are no longer with you? If so who were they? My brother was a Marine.

jest 'nother windy day here, but thankful thus far no severe weather's 'twas yesterdays fare. no plans here. i've lost quite a few family members'n friends durin' the wars o'er my lifetime.

Yesterday I was sick most of the day. Sunday night my back was hurting me and it kept hurting most of the day yesterday. Today I feel much better. I don't really celebrate Memorial Day. I did get some treats to Lily. One treat she didn't like though. Today is my best friend's son's birthday. He's turning 17 today. I gave Lily some treats today too.

I'm sorry you were sick yesterday and hope you're feeling better today. Having a backache is no fun and I hope it's much better today. Did you put the heating pad on it? Happy Birthday to your best friend's son. I'm sure Lily liked her treats.

@just4him I used to have a heating pad, but I lost it when I moved into this trailer many years ago. I took some Motrin for my back. Yeah it's much better today.

It's been sunny all day here. Still at 70 too. I caught up on sleep, did house cleaning, made my brother and i lunch and watched tv, before i actually was able to take a nap!

I wouldn't mind the rain, I just want it to stop being windy. I swear my home is going to fly away haha
We went to the cemetery to visit some family, only one was in the military, I didn't know them but my grandma did. It was nice to visit though.

Hi Valerie, it is incredible hot, really hot, I just put a wet towel over mi head, over my stomach, on my chest, I try to get fresh. But it´s really hot here. And we had several pollution issues last week, unfortunately.
