Had my last free driving lesson yesterday....

Yesterday was my last free driving lesson but as I am comfortable with the driving instructor, I will be continuing to be taught by her.
It will be $65 per hour. It is a bit too much for me but I don't really have many choices at the moment to get help for less or better yet, free. I still have my brother but ( and no offence to him ) he doesn't teach well. But I would still like to keep practising driving and practice what I've learned from the driving instructor in my brother's car. The more practice, the better!
This is some of the reason why I want to keep making and saving money as much as I can. Also hence why I will be having a garage sale soon. To get rid of things but hopefully make some extra money to help with my driving lessons and to save for a car.
I'm really enjoying driving around. Still few things I'm confused about but only because I'm still new to rules when driving but I know I will get better with it all in time.

@CarolDM Funny enough, that happened a couple times yesterday during my lesson. It's annoying because apart from knowing where I am going, it helps to know where others are going. But they would rather act as if everyone on the road is bloody psychic.

@noni1959 Thank you very much.
And not that I know of. I should probably look around actually. I would still like to stay with this instructor but I guess it wouldn't hurt to look around and maybe add another driving school to my least if it's a bit cheaper. I want to try hard and nail driving so I'm extra confident on my actual driving test.

Don't practice driving in the US! Everything is the reverse!

Exactly! And knowing me, I'd probably always walk to the wrong side of the car let alone drive on the wrong side of the road!

@VivaLaDani13 It's about $10 per hour. It must have 40 hours here so that you could go to take the exam. The first is a written exam, and if this passes, then it goes on the driving

@KrauseHome I agree.
Sadly it's all I can do right now. Will just have to pop some money aside for this.

I was shocked at the price
I've been driving for twenty years so thought maybe prices had gone mad so checked a couple of driving instructors in my city and used a currency converter and what you're paying is quite significantly more expensive than it is here.

@Mike197602 MIKE!
Always happy to see you on here!!!!
Well that sucks a lot.
Damn Perth for being so expensive. Actually now I'm curious on what other states in Australia charges for driving lessons.

Since you like your driving instructor it is wise to continue with her.

@Hannihar I agree. I'd rather stick with someone I'm comfortable with to learn.

Sometimes it can best to learn from a stranger/instructor. Family members may lack the patience, lol. Once your comfortable, driving around and having that independence can be very liberating.

@Sojourn Yes and no. I've only had 3 lessons worth and those were 45 minutes each. I need way more to be completely familiar with it all.

@MommyOfEli2013 It really is. I wouldn't mind that much if I had a job or at least some sort of good income. But I am still grateful to have found someone I'm really comfortable driving with. I will just keep trying to raise and save money for this.

@VivaLaDani13 Oh yeah, I understand that....things are even more expensive when you don't have the $ for it! That's a good idea to keep trying to raise/save money for it!
