Today I finished my book, Stephen King's "The Outsider" Frankly it was a little long winded in the middle but as I kept reading it picked up with a bang. If you like Stephen King's weird impossible stories you will love this one. It practically blows your mind.
I loaded up our books and we carried them back to the library. This time I checked out a book explaining dreams and what they mean. I'm anxious to get started on it. I have such weird dreams and sometimes I can figure out what my subconscious is trying to get through to me but often not. Are you interested in your dreams?

I loved King books like The Shining, Carrie, and I have read It many times. His stranger stories somehow don't do it for me. Perhaps I just don't understand them as well. I am very interested in dreams and have discovered that dreams that mean something are dreams you never really forget. I dreamt a strange one ages ago and I can still relate that dream today without even looking up where I wrote about it in my journal.

I used to keep a journal of all my dreams and they are strange dreams. children are in a lot of my dreams and driving down strange roads. I still remember a few of mine from years ago. One day I'm going to get out my dream journals. I used to understand why I was dreaming some of them.

I'll have to find out what I'm dreaming lately. I don't know if I'm sleeping too lightly to dream or if I forget them. I haven't slept well for a long time. I'm going to start making a note of my dreams before I can forget them. I used to have lots of nightmares and weird dreams.I even had a few dreams that came true.

I sometimes have weird dreams but I don't worry about it. Maybe one day we'll really figure out what is going on. I would rather live my life than my dreams.

@RubyHawk I don't think our dreams mean anything but that is just what I think.

@1hopefulman We don't really know, but I have the feeling my dreams are trying to tell me something.

Stephen King is my all-time favorite author. I have every single book he has ever written, and have read each of them dozens of times. I still love reading his stories. And yes, he has a very weird, crazy mind, and it shows in his stories. Great stories, but definitely can make you have interesting dreams afterward!

@RubyHawk Oh yes, Children of the Corn was very frightening. I still get goosebumps anytime I'm around a cornfield.

@moffittjc That story was so horrible I'm still not over reading it.

@thelme55 I finally read a few more pages and it's not as interesting as I thought it would be. I doubt I'll finish it. It goes back to primitive dreams centuries ago and writes about psychiatrists ideas to the present.I thought there would be more concrete information.

Dreams are fascinating. I used to have some recurring dreams...
Love Stephen King. Don't think I ever tried "Outsider"

@RubyHawk I like how he keeps writing. I got into the Dome by watching the TV series. Season 1 was awesome imo - the other 2 seasons sort of lagged. I didn't enjoy the (audio) book of it as much

@FayeHazel I only read the book and it didn't even sound like Stephen King.
