Ten TV Series That "Everybody" Watched Except Me: Friends (#5)

With one eye on the weather I've packed and am ready to go to our second state tournament of the year. It's supposed to be bad here all weekend; however, our tournament is 80 miles north, so we might escape. On the other hand, we're notorious for being able to bring rain out of a clear blue sky. I might be watching TV all weekend, which leads me to another TV series that it seems "everybody" watched....except me.
#5: Friends
I have no friends. No, wait, I have no concept of Friends.
It's weird because there are some of those "Buzzfeed" personality tests on Facebook that'll ask a question like, "which Friends character are you most like?" and they never give, "How would I know? I never watched the show!" as an answer option.
Well, guess what, I never watched the show.
Like yesterday's series, though, I do know the theme songs.

It’s a good show I grew up watching it as a kid from the start to finish. It’s a go to show for me and my husband when we don’t know what to watch. Over all I’m not like any of there characters but my husband is like a cross between all 3 male characters.

If I had to pick a female, I'd say that I'm most like Rachael but I'm definitely not into fashion. Personality-wise. I'm not OCD and controlling like Monica and I'm not a total flake like Phoebe. If I could be a male character, it would probably be Chandler. I'm not super-funny like he is but I do have the sarcasm. I'm also smart and an intellectual but I'd rather be Chandler than Ross.

@NJChicaa I’m like none of the characters some times I might have like a Phoebe moment but that’s it. Im definitely not into fashion either, and I don’t care to clean even though I do clean my own house I still hate it. I do like organizing things but I don’t get crazy of things are not in places I’m what they call a butterfly I like to see my stuff.
My husband says things like Chandler all of the tome, but he loves food like Joe and that and they have the same name. But he is smart like Ross and knows like what I like to call useless facts.

I loved this show and watched it all through the seasons again and then felt like I was saying goodbye to my friends. I know after another year I will probably watch it all over again. Love that song.

I once accidentally saw part of one episode when I was visiting some acquaintances. I hated that snippet, especially because one of the main characters, who happened to have the same name as me, was behaving in a totally ridiculous manner. I couldn't bear to see any more!

Yes, a decent theme song! I did watch that show at times, it was kind of like a Hallmark movie. Sometimes you start watching and can't stop yourself. Although, in fairness, the show did have some funny moments. Once Monica and Chandler got married and had a baby it was check out time for me. It seems when babies get added to a show's mix, pretty much any show, the series "jumps the shark for good." What do you think?

You're not the only one who's never watched Friends. I think I accidentally caught odd snippets of it but it's not something that ever appealed to me - I do know and like the song, though. My best friend was obsessed with it. There seem to be a few shows that 'everyone' watches that I never did. I'll have to look through your discussions and see if there are any others we share.

I never saw that performance before thank you.
We watched it when my kids were growing up. I did watch it and watched many of the movies the car were in later too.
I don't see much now though since anything I watch is either long over or I have to wait until a new season begins to catch back up there are certain ones we saw but that I never did enjoy that much.
Head the internet between around back then and so readily available I'm sure it's have steered clear from some too.
