Oh yeah, it's really sizzlin here at 100(f) with 10% humidity. I was outside a little while ago gettin a few rays. Well, sorta getting rays, I was sittin in the shade of my Chinaberry tree and even that was fairly hot. Had a great mornin though. Met a friend I seldom see for lunch and it turned out to be a treat for me cuz she paid. I had salmon with flan as desert at Luby's. Have you reached the triple digits yet? The shot above is of my first pup, Rebel and her daughter Sandy. When I was taking these shots with my 35mm camera I thought I had caught both of them looking at me but Sandy stuck her nose in the water just as I snapped this shot. This was taken sometime between 1985 and 1989.

We had never reached the triple digits and I sincerely hope that this is not going to happen at all even this year. Nice photo.

I must be used to the dry heat, I rarely need eye drops @LadyDuck

I hope you won't either, your humidity would make it very hard to bare.

@rebelann Right now it is breezy and dry, too dry for my eyes, I am spending a fortune in eye drops.

I hope we don't go too far over the 100 mark, I don't mind 100 to 105 but anything over that is over kill. Yeah, it was a nice get together.

Here in Florida we were in triple digits for over a week. The only saving grace for us was the fact that the humidity was below 50%. Had it been at our typical 90-95% humidity, we would have all been dying! Hope you were able to keep cool! And I hope you enjoyed that salmon lunch!

I'm so glad we only had 10% humidity with that 100, any higher would make it hard for me to bare. I had a very nice lunch with my friend and when I got home I sat under my chinaberry tree and relaxed, sure it was hot but I didn't mind.

Yes, it really is nice @moffittjc I'm trying to get more trees planted but sometimes the wind we get here dries them up before they have a chance to actually grow.

They look like they're enjoying the water. That's way too hot for me. We're in the 80s this weekend. I'm sure we'll reach double digits this summer, but not yet.

Here June is our hottest month. Then July is what we call our monsoon month ..... it's meant jokingly as we rarely get any real rainfall compared to areas like yours.

That's a lot @just4him my area usually only gets around 10" a year with most of that coming around the end of June through July

@rebelann We've gotten almost 16 inches of precip since January 1st. That includes snow. It's almost 5 inches more than we normally get by this time of the year. What we don't need is rain. What we're going to keep getting is more rain. We had some today and still might get more. Then there's another storm on Wednesday.

I think we hit it one day or that might have been the humidity levels making it feel as if it was in the triple digits. It has been hot and humid!

I don't know how you can breath with humidity as high as 60% plus over 90f, I'd go nuts if it got like that here. The other day it was 99f but the humidity was 9%, that's not too bad

Wow, you got that early heat, was 90 the other day but last two days been really nice. June is usually nice here but last year as soon as summer hit, dropped a 120 on us. We are like going to die this year. Love the photo many will see scary but I know she was playing trying to catch the water.

We've barely hit the double digits. Not really v but it seems that way sometimes. We wonder whether well ever have a summer since our spring was sporadic. Some of our April flowers made an appearance in May instead. At least we didn't have summer before spring and if it stays cooler my husband's will be happy.

Deserts tend to stay on the warm to hot side depending on the time of year, sometimes we actually get a winter but those don't usually last more than a few weeks.

We was supposed to have reached 101 a few weeks ago, but Bing announced it would be in the 90's instead. We haven't reached it yet.

I don't trust Bing for weather reports because they generally only look at the temps at our airport which is way off if you don't live near there. We've gotten 101 already but now it's cooled off for a couple days.
