I have been on the waiting list for the shingles (Shingrix) vaccine for quite some time. There is a shortage; and they are only getting in a couple of doses at the pharmacy each week. They called yesterday and said it was in; so today I went and got my injection. I could feel the liquid go in..it was a little painful; but it was over in seconds. Then we went to one of our local family restaurants and had dinner. It was so-so. I had my usual chicken tenders and a salad. I just caught up with my followers' Notification and Discussions. Maybe I'll get in a little blog writing yet this evening. Photo is from Pixabay.

Do they even give those shots to people who have had it before? That is something I never want again.

I did not know yesterday that the new vaccine you mentioned is the Shingrix. It is available here since the beginning of last year.

That's good that you got your shot today....sorry it was a little painful though. Sorry to hear dinner was so-so as well. But chicken tenders sound good.
