Saturday Was a Good Day, I Got It Finished

I actually slept late and that was because I seen that I did have one more day fo sun to get things finished here, and there. After letting he dogs out, I got busy and finished mowing the back field. I got in the truck and pulled it down to the old burn barrel that is rusted and broken in half, I took two five gallon buckets and put a trash bag in each, then I shoveled the last of the burned up stuff and filled the two buckets and loaded them on the truck, then I picked up the 2 halves and placed them on the truck and drove it back to the house. Me and the dogs took a walk and picked blackberries, only got a pint today. I fed the dogs and got them clean water in both containers. Back inside I gave Tony clean clothes to go ahead and get ready to leave and then I went for my cold shower. Tony said he could patch the leak in the roof so I tossed the clippers and the calking gun on the truck. I stopped for dog food and calking, used the $5 coupon. At publix they did not have the medication ready, I got diet cokes and cool whip, used another $5 coupon. At the old home place I set up the ladder, this is not easy! and Tony went up and patched the leak on the roof. I placed the trash can at the back of the truck and unloaded the old burn barrel and the 2 trash bags. Then I got the clippers off and cut down randomly growing small trees. Tony finished and I took down the ladder. The punk kid came home but didnt say anything to us he was singing old town road, sounded horrible. On the way home I seen someone stealing gas from a closed business, called the cops and reported them. Back home I unloaded the truck, tossed the dogs some treats, washed up and cooked dinner. Now I am mylotting and resting. Sunday I will stay in and just clean house a little. How was your Saturday?
