My missus and I have done a lot of camping already this year. Our latest trip took up to Lumberton, NC and gave us a chance to hike a section of the Lumber River State Park.
The river was running high due to recent rains. We didn't realize how high until we tried to hike the Orange Trail. As you can see in the photo, the Orange Trail was inundated. This was about 150 meters down the trail.
We turned back and tried the Blue Trail. The only impediment to our progress on the Blue Trail was a downed tree we easily bypassed.
This was our 7th camping trip already this year. We are enjoying our new camper very much.

I'm so glad you are getting to camp a lot! We went camping a few weeks ago, stayed at a KOA. We stayed in a cabin, it was awesome.

@DWDavis Thank you and I agree! We had a lovely time. =) They were even so nice to let us use their pool this past Sunday for my husband to baptize a few people!!

You could almost fish there! I love seeing water gush through trail areas after the rain . . . out here the creeks were pretty dry from the drought but having good rain this year changed that (for now). Sounds like you're making the most out of your camper . . . we have yet to go camping with the kids but hope to soon!

I love waterfalls, but the problem is the high rainfall makes getting to them a little tricky. Glad you're enjoying your new camper.
