Shortest night .... on this side of the line

Wow, the longest day has come to an end and now the shortest night is here. It's so hard to believe that tomorrow the night will be a wee bit longer. Meetzee, the kitty on the left, is always grooming Max who seems to relish the attention. Can you tell?

So cute the cats are ! Here the days begin to shorten after the Summer Solstice,the Winter Solstice is contrary to it.

Thank you, they are both old kitties and have been together since the one on the left was a kitten, Max is almost 19 years old. Yes, it is the same way here.

Not here, I checked during 3 days we are not at all gaining a little bit of night and then the process will be very slow, too much light until the end of July. Meetzee is cute.

It is usually only longer by 1 second or so in the mornings. Watch the sunrise sunset times which will tell you.

Thank you. Our hottest month is usually June, then July brings us a smidgen of rain and it stays hot until around mid September when it starts to cool down some. Of course my idea of cool down is 80s.

If you mean the calico she's Meetzee. Max doesn't groom anyone, I think it's usually the females that do that but I'm not positive.Well, so far neither of the male cats I've had have licked me so I wouldn't know
