A few minutes ago I needed to go outside for a minute so I decided to take a photo of our little swing area. I love this little spot when the weather is cooler and I can enjoy the greater outdoors.
During the milder weather we spend a lot of time out there in the swing. People drop by as they are walking around our circle and visit for a while.
I can't wait until I can spend time out there once more. Do you have a little area in your yard that you like to spend time in?

Your swing area looks very inviting. I wish I had a swing.
My outside reading is usually on my front porch . It's shady in the afternoons and I have a nice bench to sit on. Besides I can see what's going on in the neighborhood without being too nosey

that's jest lovely :) folks don't walk 'round these parts? 'tis e'en rare to see young'uns out...e'en'n town walkers're few. dunno what they do with their young'uns??? no doubt tied to a gadget 'f some sort.
i've my lil sanctuary out back. big ol' porch swing, chairs, several decks, the pond, trees 'n such. brings me great joy.

@HazySue oh, that's wonderful! makes my heart happy to read such still goes'n some parts 'f the country. last year i 'nvited a bunch 'f the neighbors here fer a bar-b-que since so many'd be new. nope, all declined. i swear i showered first....
yes ma'am, 'tis been a great haven fer myself.

It looks very peaceful. The moss on the trees reminds me of Tampa.

We have a deck; but it's usually too hot and sunny and buggy. We have an awning but hardly ever use it.
