Today I was very mad with Dixie. She went out yesterday night and today she had a big neck pain. And while she was talking tto me about that, she told me that she was in a hurry because tomorrow she would go to work. My late husband always said that a live soldier would be able to fight another battle. But some people are not aware that they have to take care of themselves. Dixie ended up getting as angry as she can get because I reminded her to take care of herself. I wonder if that is a death wish

I´m sorry, friends. This is a rant.

I understand your rant. My niece had a car accident, she had to wear a collar for her neck, she complained about the pain, I told her to rest for a few days. I checked her FB profile the day after and I saw her at a party with friends "without" the collar.

Dixie has all sorts of excuses for not taking care of herself. It is stupid. She had had 2 open heart surgeries. So she is not a babe anymore.

@LadyDuck Now she is alone at the hospital and the doctor is not there. I don´t understand why she doesn´t ask someone to go with her. I could.

Some people don't take care of themselves. There isn't much you can do about it I guess, especially if she gets angry if you say anything.
