The Strangest Thing

It is storming right now with pouring rain and thunder that is sounding like it is right over the apartment. What is so strange is, one half of the sky is cloudy and the other half is blue with the sun shining. When it first thundered, I looked out the window and saw the sun and was confused. Then I saw the other half of the sky. Our temps have suddenly gone from 92 to 76. Poor Daisy is shaking so bad and is currently hiding behind me on the couch. I can't even sit back.

Awww, poor lil Daisy. I've seen those kinds of skies before but it hasn't happened here recently.

It's really strange to see rain falling across the street from where you are and all your getting is sunshine @simone10 I remember that happening way back in the 60s.

Supposedly the rumor is if you see that, it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Not sure how that got started and if it is true. I think it is true like a broken clock, twice a day it is going to be right.

We had a thunderstorm a few hours ago, but its still really hot and muggy again, maybe it will storm some more.

That's the first time I have seen the sky clear on one side and cloudy on the other side while raining.

That used to happen in Florida all the time! It was crazy but cool too. I'm sorry Daisy is scared and not liking the weather. =(

We went up to 105 F last Monday at noon, but in the afternoon a powerful thunderstorm and heavy rain helped to cool down the temperature. It is fine now.

What I did was cover her in her blanket and snuggle her up to me. I kept telling her in a calm voice that it's ok.

We are in the rainy season---1-2 hours a day of heavy rain then the humidity goes up--finally around 6-7 PM it turns beautiful!!!

Sometimes it happens, one time it was raining half of the field and the other side of the field was not. That was during our road trip.
