Was out photographing the Rose of Sharon blooms earlier this morning. The clouds were all over at first. Then the sun came out and a nice blue sky appeared. You never know what the weather will bring this time of year.
These bushes are covered in blooms. One of the blooms here has a bee inside if you look close. They love the pollen these blooms offer. The hummingbirds and butterflies visit often as well.

Hope you all have a great day. Have a few projects going on today. Any exciting plans for you today?

What a magnificent photo of your rose of Sharon blooms and the beauty of the blue sky in the background. I can see the bee!!
I'm hoping to get some things listed on EBay today. Otherwise it's just a normal day

I can't see the insects, but that is a lovely flower pic. Sometime you should take a pic of your whole garden and post it.

Glorious blooms that are a "beehive" of activity.

My mother waited for years to buy a Rose of Sharon. I'm not sure if they were rare or just expensive but eventually she got one which gave her a lot of pleasure.

I think these would not do well where I live. They like base soil, mine is very acidic because of all the spruce trees around. But Looks nice. I might be able to keep one in a large pot.
