~It Will Be Great For Them~

Hey everyone, I hope you are doing well today! God loves you and He is so amazing. =) Today is a different than usual kind of day. My older sister messaged a few weeks ago and asked if the kids could come spend time at her house. I agreed to the older 3 going and she said she would be in touch with the WHEN. Well yesterday she messaged and asked if she could pick them up today! Short notice but it's okay. They will have a GREAT time-even if I will go crazy missing them! So, we are meeting her at McDonald's play place to have dinner and for the kids to go with her-our place is WAY too small for company! They will have a 10 hour drive back to her house, but will probably stop at my parents to sleep which would also be great for them since they haven't seen their grandparents in 3 years! The younger two will get to go next year-we want Josiah to be potty trained before going so it's not SO much work on my sister. Plus, the younger two are so attached to us still at this point. That is how our day will go later today! She will be here around 5ishpm. My kiddo's will be going for 2 weeks-which will feel like a lifetime to momma bear!! Spending time with cousins and doing fun things will be so nice for them though. If you need prayers please let me know!! I would be happy to do that for you. Sounds great for the kids to spend time with family. Is my math right you have 6 kids? Or did I misunderstand and can't do math? 6 kids wow, that is a lot of kids.

@LovingMyBabies it is fun to be the one who goes away. So, do the little boys miss them? Or love the extra attention?

@marlina No actually it doesn't. My older 3 are great helps with the boys and they are completely self sufficient. They are truly no trouble at all. I had to be completely selfless to let them go have a good time.

What a wonderful time they will have. A trip to their Aunt and Uncles plus a stop along the way at Grandma's and Grandpa's. It can't get much better than that.

They will have a blast and create many memories for sure. When we were kids we did this all the time. Our cousins would spend a couple of weeks with us and we'd spend a couple of weeks with them. Not every year of course. But often enough, and we always had a great time. Unfortunately most of my cousins became nuts in their adulthood so we don't spend a lot of time together anymore. But when we were kids it was a lot of fun.
