I don't know about you when you start something new, but for me, my heart feels like it's been energized with new blood and I'm ready to do something new in my life. Right now, that something new is a book. You might ask why I'm writing a new book when I have so many I'm working on. The answer is simple - it's what I do. I needed an infusion of something and this book was a waking project this morning. As I mentioned in the previous post, it might be a romance. If I can steer away from that it would be wonderful. My working title is Change of Heart. Change of Heart isn't your normal romance where girl/boy meet each other, hate each other on the way to loving each other. So far, that's a good thing. It's the 21st century, so contemporary, takes place in the known world, so not science fiction, at least not yet, who knows. Anything could happen. This story starts out with interfering parents who contracted their children for marriage when they were children. They never met, conversed, or knew anything about each other other than what they found out through social media. Their only source of information. It's their wedding day. I made it through the wedding ceremony. I know the female character's thoughts about her parent's interference in her life, not at all happy about it. I haven't met the male lead character yet. That's coming. Their names - Andrea Breanna Linwood and Richard Nathanael Camden. They come from wealthy parents who tend to rule their children's lives. Andrea has a mind of her own and now that she's out from under her parent's constant interference in her life, she intends to carry on with what she loves most. She wants to work with people in third world countries. She has a college education to take her in that direction. She did have some control over her life, but not much. Whether or not she will is yet to be seen as I know nothing yet about Richard. It will be fun getting to know him and what his goals and intentions are now that he is also married against his will. The parents of each put a prenuptial agreement in place that states there would be no divorce in this relationship marriage. So you know a change of heart is coming before the end of the book. I can tell you whatever direction this takes, it will be a wild ride. That's what's new for me. Have you started any new projects? Tell me about them. Thanks for reading.
