It Seems My Broken AC Wasn't Broken at All!!

Last night Alex and Josh came over to play cards with us. Well actually, Alex was dropping Josh off, he spent the night with us so that we could take him to hockey camp this morning. Alex asked why my ac wasn't on, I told him to try it. Within a second it was operating. What??? He looked at me and said you needed to hit the reset button!! What??? Okay, I thought I tried everything, evidently, I didn't. When the new one gets here I will keep it. I think it would work well in one of our other rooms and I did get a reasonable price for it. MY goodness, I do love have grandsons!!! That is Josh last 4th of July in the picture blocking his face, Alex in the blue shirt and Brandon laughing.

Keep the new one and use the old until it lasts. My husband did the same with a TV set.

But whose that with the curly hair I have to rely on myself so when something goes wrong I try to figure it out before spending money on a repair guy or gal.

Huh, I would never have known it had a reset button either. Maybe me fixing my kitchen faucet will be that easy. I thought I was making it better recently and ended up making it worse and more work for me.

That pool looks so inviting. Yes it is nice to have grandsons. I don't know if I would of thought to hit the reset button. The old one may last you many more years and the new one can start its life span when it gets there.

@BelleStarr I'm certain they still wouldn't know what to do with an air conditioner, even if they live to 150 years old. Ha Ha!

When I was fixing baked beans to go with sloppy joes we lost power during a bad thunderstorm for just a few seconds and 30 minutes later when I started the sloppy joes I saw the oven wasnt on and it hit me I should of checked. But it worked out as I raised the oven heat up and let the slopy joes simmer longer and they turned out great
