Flooded streets and roads in Washington DC

I can feel shocked on seeing massive flooding on the streets and roads of Washington DC. Even White House basement was shown as filled with water in the news. It must be a big trouble for the people living there. Source : Watching News Nation news channel

I didn't know about the flooding. I would hate my house to be flooded. Imagine trying to clean it afterwards.

The record-setting cloudburst unleashed four inches of rain in a single hour, way too much water for a heavily populated area to cope with at the height of the morning rush.

Yes, most of the flooding was in Alexandria Virginia where my son lives. He works in DC though. I asked him if he saw any flooding, he said not really but his shoes got wet!

Flood is really a dangerous thing. It can take one's life very easily. To survive becomes a tough task. May the Lord save all's life.
