What crafts do you enjoy doing?

I sometimes make time for crafting just for fun. I simply spray paint on things, make something out of extra fabric scraps, bracelet making, etc. Just the ones that I don't have to sit and work on for days. One thing I really would like to try though is woodworking. It looks tricky and a time-consuming process but fun to watch on videos. Anyway, I was cleaning my closet earlier and I found a pair of old denim jeans, which might be my next project.

And more expensive compared to my previous pieces, especially if I'm going to have it framed after... But I think it's going to be fun.

That's great you have a knack for crafts. I don't do crafts, but I love to sew when I have time, which isn't often. Mostly I write.

@MGjhaud I was very bad at knitting in the beginning. My first project was a small butterfly and it was not a pretty sight

But I got better at it.

I'm sure you can jazz up those jeans of yours. I used to quilt, embroider, and do needlepoint, but haven't bothered in years.

When I had time and the money I really enjoyed hand knitting and crocheting. But these days the hours go by so fast and I don't have the time to do it and cost of yarn got expensive!

@MGjhaud it depends on how much time you can spend in a day. I usually make it in a week if I can do it every day while watching a tv show.

For grocery bags, I reuse them for trash. For bottles(of uniform size and small ones), I use them for my spices cause I have lots of them that I don't use often so I have to stock them safely. For boxes, I use them for some of my old books and stuff worth keeping in storage. I also recycle broken mugs for some of my small craft supplies.

I don't do much in the way of crafting, but my wife tinkers a bit with stuff. My thing is just enjoying playing my guitar when I have a little free time to myself. Very relaxing and fun.

@MGjhaud It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. But in order to get good at anything you do have to have a really strong interest in it otherwise you could bore of it easily and get frustrated and just give up.

I like doing crafts with fabrics. in the recent past i was making some flower pots using old fabric dip in wet concrete and the hang on a mold for 24 hrs.

Oh yes, I keep myself busy doing a variety of things aside from sewing.. I love to crochet hats and scarves and bags... I am interested in painting now.. but just taking it easy...

I craft when bored or don’t feel like working. It’s double fun — it’s relaxing and you get to use it afterwards or maybe sell it to make money.
