What's for Dinner Tonight? Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

We had soup for lunch today since the temperature was at a very mild 74 degrees. This is a big drop from the 96-degree and higher temperatures we were having before Hurricane Barry hit. I decided to fix spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner tonight. The hubby wanted something filling and it sounded good. I also haven't fixed spaghetti and meat sauce in several weeks so it will be enjoyed by all. My only regret is that I have no French Bread in the house to make garlic bread with. Insert a pout here. What are you having for dinner tonight? Photo: Pixaby, public domain

We weren't home for supper tonight. So, we ate 'breakfast' out, at Bob Evans. Jay ordered bacon&eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits&sausage gravy. Myself I had eggs, turkey sausage, fried potatoes, and a biscuit/honey. It was great! We enjoy breakfast food for supper, quite often.

Good for you. I love fresh grapefruit. We had a lady at work who had a tree and she would bring them to work to share with us.

That sounds good too. I'm trying not to have seconds. I think knowing that I may get acid reflux from eating this will keep the seconds in the pot. Yay.

That sounds good. When I really want garlic bread I have just toasted a couple of slices of bread. Then butter them and sprinkle garlic powder on. It is not as satisfying but still good.

I love to fix it when I have fresh onions, garlic, green onions, bell pepper, and mushrooms to go in it. Tonight didn't have the bell peppers and had mushrooms but not fresh ones (canned).

Summer squash is something I need to cook. I have some in the freezer that I put up about a month ago. Can't beat fresh vegetables.

I have never tasted lentil soup. My mom never fixed anything she didn't like so there are tons of food that I've never tried. I did widen my horizon on veggies though.
