Photograph of the Day | Pretty Flowers

Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well. Things are going good here....except Eli complaining about everything today! Anyways, I got back on my diet today. My first meal around 1 PM was tuna. Well see how my sugar is after, but I only had about 2 carbs total in the meal. I'll be back to sharing my food of the day posts tonight. For now though, I am sharing a photograph. I took this a few years back at the greenhouse where my great-grandmother used to work. These flowers look familiar, but can't think of their name right now. What do you think of the photograph? How about the flowers? Which color of them do you prefer?

I can't pick a color. I like them all. As for a child complaining? What??? Surely you jest.

Glad to hear you got back to your diet. Today, on another note, I will destroy my salt restriction progress. Ugh.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yep. Back on the road so fast food it is. Ugh. What can you do? Plus, I am sure that fried chicken I had when the wife was away on Sunday night which I also ate on Monday didn't help either. THAT coupled with the fact that we went out to eat on Saturday night when her cousin was in town. I am doomed. As for your son complaining about everything...hope he finds something to be happy about soon.

Well I'm glad you like them all...I do too. Haha, complaining is one thing...but my son has been complaining about every single thing LOL. Yes...Missing the carbs but not missing feeling like crap. I think I read about that in your post from the other day about going back on the road so back to fast food.

@porwest Good question -- when it comes to the salt in food that is hard to get away from it when you are away from home and have to have certain foods. Luckily for me, there are always low carb options (if I must, I can just have a burger without the bun). I am sorry that it is not easy when out on the road!! And thanks, I surely hope so too. But at this stage, I think he just likes to find something to complain about. Hoping it is just a 5 year old thing and he won't always be that way lol.

I know what these flowers are...I've seen them before but can't think of what they are. CarolDM will know. All the colors are very pretty. That's a very nice photo.
