Had to Buy A Mouse

The mouse to our computer broke into, so we went to Walmart to get another one, while we were there I picked up a new mouse pad. Ours was worn and wobbly. I found a cute pair of pink pants but I couldn't find a top to go with them. I carried them around looking for a top but finally put them back on the shelf.
I thought I'd never get checked out. They only had two checkouts open and the store was crowded. They have oodles of self checkouts but I don't use those because it's doing someone out of a job. I looked again for a carpet cleaner but still didn't see one I liked. I saw one that might do and I'll probably go back and get it.
We dropped off our library books off while we were out so we don't have to do that tomorrow. My better half has a doctors appointment in the morning. His iron count is real low so I'm worried about that. I'm about ready for bed so all you good people sleep well tonight.

@RubyHawk No, it is not the same here, because we always had only 3 cashiers and the lines were long, they would have never hired more. At least with the automatic check out we do not wait in line if we only have a few things. This increased a lot the number of people who go just to buy a few things.

@LadyDuck Most of our grocery stores have only added self check out in the last few years. Before we had lines of cashiers but since they added the self checkout. Sometimes there is only one cashier. That meant several people lost their job./

Yep, ours split right across the middle and the little arrow wouldn't go where it was pointed. I don't know how old our mouse was. It had well served it's purpose. Our key board will go next, it's old too. I'm afraid they will put my better half through a battery of tests. We have an appointment today to find our about his appointment with a specialist.

Since I am constantly writing online I made sure my nouse does not run out of steam. I have rechargeable batteries for it and if all else fails a mouse with a connection standing by.

I hope your husband can get his iron count back up. I know a person who is having trouble keeping his iron count up. So, good luck. As to pink pants, doesn't a black top go with pink pants? Just my 2 cents. Maybe I'm just not fashion savvy.

I rarely use the self check-out for the same exact reason.

I always use self-checkouts. The employees that are working as cashiers at the regular checkouts are incompetent at best. It should take me longer to check out than it did to shop, yet every time I go to a register with a cashier they act like they have never run a cash register before. Or, they are slow as molasses. I want to get in and get out as fast as possible, especially at Walmart. That place is a zoo. If a self-checkout helps me get out of there quicker, I'm going to use it every single time.
