Have you ever been bitten by a dog?

In my home country, it’s common to see stray dogs everywhere. I know people who have pet dogs who don’t put them on a leash. When you visit someone’s house, the first question to ask is, ‘Do you have a dog?’ Followed by ‘Does your dog bite?’ Funny question for you maybe but I personally take it seriously.
My mom was bitten by a neighbor’s dog a long time ago. The neighbor was supposed to pay for the anti-rabies vaccine but they couldn’t afford so. Father had to scrape together enough money to pay for the hefty medicine bill and all. I don’t know what happened to the dog though.
I like dogs but I’m not thinking about having one for a pet. I’d leave it to friends and relatives and some myLotters here.

@JohnRoberts oh that is bad and German Shepherd Dog is generally quite ferocious.

I was bitten by a dog when I was a child, I was riding my bike and the dog got loose from the neighbor's back yard and and came chasing after me and bit me on my ankle.

@BelleStarr I’m not so familiar with dog breeds so I had to check what beagles look like. They have long ears and a sad face.

I was bitten by our pet dog; but he was vaccinated with anti rabies vaccine; but to be sure, I had the injections too.

Is the treatment for dog bite so expensive in your place?
I was bitten by a dog in November 2006. I did get 3 anti rabies shots then.
Somehow I felt that I got a bit unease in my body because of them.
But it is better to be at a distance from dogs who can probably bite.

Five years ago I have just arrived from China when scary thing happened to me. I bought a new sim that evening upon arrival at home to a store beside home. Then the storeowners dog break it's chain and attacked me. I got seven bites and 7 injections for anti tetanus and anti rabis. I cannot forget that pain, it's so painful.
