I received another coupon for Red Lobster via email. This time it was for 10% off; and Red Lobster is having Crab Fest. They have a lot of new dishes; and my husband and I wanted to try some of them.
We are right between two Red Lobsters; but we decided to go East to the one that's a little further away because we find that the food is much better...and that was the case tonight. We both had one of the best meals that we've ever had.
We had a Lobster Pizza for an appetizer. I had chicken with mashed potatoes, cole slaw, cheddar biscuits and a skewer of scallops. My husband tried one of the new dishes. He always has steak; so he had steak topped with crab, Crab Imperial, baked potato with sour cream, cheddar biscuits and cole slaw.
Needless to say, we were stuffed. AND the meal was not meh! Yay! The food was much better East than we could have gotten by going West to the other restaurant which is in a much more populated area.
So, what did you have for dinner; and what did you do today? It was so hot today and will be getting hotter over the next two days. They are expecting "feel like" temps to be around 105 degrees.

I made meatballs. Tomorrow I might pick up some microwave stuff or lunch meat for the next couple of days.

My day went well. Always go to the library for internet computers. Finished my errand and will stay late at the library. Dinner? Got some leftover okada...it's a tofu dish sort of, it's the pulp that remains while making tofu from soy milk. I love it, but when you cook it at home it's a lot of it, so I buy already prepared. Going to finish it this evening. Happy mylotting.

Red Lobster, for a while there, was kind of known as "poor man's seafood." BUT, the last few times I have been to Red Lobster, I actually enjoy their food very much. And all of that crab on all of that stuff, including the potatoes, just sounds DElish!

It was; and the food quality was excellent...and they do a better job at this one restaurant over the other.

@LindaOHio You'd think, being a chain, they'd be more consistent. But I have experienced the same with other restaurants depending on where you go.

Our Red Lobster closed long ago, not one close by, I do like lobster, the only one who has it it Sizzler, it comes with steak and baked potatoe.

Yes! hotter than down here. Stay inside. That sounds like a wonderful meal! I had a hamburger steak and salad.

Sounds like a good, big meal! The chicken and mashed potatoes sound great. Not sure about lobster pizza!
