The fare is becoming unfair....

Hey everyone. I just got back from an appointment. It's a place that helps look for jobs or study. We are going to look into me doing child care. I will be discussing it again tomorrow as I have another appointment at the same place but with a psychologist that works there. I see her every now and then. I am not exactly looking forward to it as I have something quite delicate I need to talk to her about. I've said in a couple posts now that something has happened recently but will not be speaking publicly about it. I already predict I will cry tomorrow as it's a sad thing. So, that should be interesting.... Anyway, when catching the bus this morning, I get told that the bus fare has gone up. And it's really not by that much. 10 cents higher than usual. But it's starting to get annoying. Don't get me wrong, I'm not unaware that prices go up with many things. Just sometimes it gets annoying as it all adds up in the end. When I was going to high school, it was 50 cents ( of course depending where you had to go ) and this was with a concession card. Now it's $2.10c. Doesn't seem like much but for someone who uses public transport a lot, it adds up. I'd hate to know what it is without a concession card. My guess, probably around the $7 mark now. The price will go up again next year too. What items / services that you get / use, have had the prices go up over the years? Do you find it a fair price or think it's a joke?

Just wait until you have your own car and you get mad at how much the fuel prices fluctuate. Somebody in Iran sneezes and the price goes up 35 cents overnight. lol

@moffittjc That was hilarious! But yes, even without a car I'm already aware of how petrol prices can be mental.

@VivaLaDani13 The oil companies are always looking for an excuse to raise prices. There's an earthquake in California? Okay, let's raise the prices! Somebody's fart smelled really bad in Siberia? Okay, let's raise the prices even more!

The toll road to go to Italy has become very expensive, it costs 6 times more than 20 years ago.

@VivaLaDani13 The Italian authorities want to increase the price again this summer. I am glad I do not need to go to Milan anymore.

All the prices went up and keep on increasing in my country. I used to do groceries and have a hard time carrying it. But now using the same budget, I can just carry the bags easily.

@VivaLaDani13 It's really unfair since we all need to buy something to survive.

Bus and metro prices here are high and they wonder why more people don't ride them.

The price of everything goes up doesn't it? Food items, gas, clothes, beach badges, meter parking, housing, dining out, movies... Wouldn't it be nice if the price of something went down. I guess the older we get the more we pay. In price and wrinkles
