Keto Chow Flavor Review - Chocolate

Hey everyone, I hope you are doing good!
I thought I would share a short review of the first flavor I have tried of the Keto Chow. For the first flavor, I went with Chocolate. It was delicious! It did not taste sugar free (it's sweetened with sucralose). I mixed mine with butter as the fat. I might mix it in the blender next time cause I don't think I am strong enough to mix it well in the blender bottle haha.
However, it was tasty. I do think I'd buy a 21 meal bag of this flavor.
My sugar after was 102...not too bad. But that is a little bit of a spike from the 74 blood sugar I woke up with. We'll see how I do with the other flavors.

Depends on who you ask. I would say it is, because for me I lose weight and it keeps my blood sugar low.

@NJChicaa I don't think the people at Keto Chow have recommended it, but some people I follow on YouTube who have drank KC have turned it into ice cream and said it was amazing that way.

How much butter do you put in? Are you able to taste it? Greasy? I don't know if I could handle that.

You don't have to put fat it in it if you don't want to actually.....but since it is made for a keto diet it is recommended to use the fat, to make it a complete meal. I put 39 grams (to hit 400 calories for the full meal). I didn't really taste the butter, but could feel the buttery-ness lol. But I would feel the same thing when I would add butter to my coffee.

@MommyOfEli2013 I think I would be able to handle it better in a hot liquid. Glad you liked it.

@LindaOHio It probably would be tasty as a hot chocolate or something! You are supposed to give it 30 minutes in the fridge to let the vitamins do what they need to do....but then you could warm it back up I am sure. They do have savory flavors too

The name makes it sound like some kind of dog food. But based on what you said here, it does not TASTE like dog food...so...
Glad you found something to help you maintain your sugar and weight goals.
I am looking forward to your before and after swimsuit pictures.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yeah, I mean, I did not know they had savory flavors. I can only imagine drinking savory over drinking sweet would be rather unpleasant. Not sure if that would ever taste good considering you are drinking it...but I guess you'd have to try one and let us know how it tasted—or felt—going down.

@porwest Well I imagine the savory flavors would be sort of like drinking the soup part in chicken noodle soup....or drinking broth. And some just use those flavors as part of a recipe. If I do try one of the savory, I will review it.

Yeah, I always thought that too....not sure why the guy named it that! Oh no, definitely doesn't taste like dog food! Although...I haven't tried the savory flavors. I've drank two so far and half lost weight, so we'll see what happens.
Haha, not sure I'd ever be brave enough to show swimsuit pictures...definitely not from before!
