We have Moussaka today

This discussion will be about food. My mother cooked Moussaka. It has chicken meat, potatoes. In Romania we use potatoes instead of eggplant, pork or beef mince. The top layer is usually milk or sour cream mixed with raw eggs, sometimes with a small amount of flour added. And the other top layer is typically a custard. This is my favorite food, even if I can't eat it often. It has milk or sour cream and I can't tolerate them too well. But it's so tasty. Do you like Moussaka? Have you heard about this food?

Yes i heard for Moussaaka. In Serbia we eat Moussaka.

I haven't tried it with eggplants. But I am sure it's very tasty. Maybe I will try it soon.

First time I had moussaka in my life was when I was in my early twenties and had a Greek boy friend. I liked it.

Oh my God, that looks amazing, although I'm Latin, it looks a lot like some foods we make here because of what I'm reading, with meats and potatoes I'm very happy to meet you and I'll look for a recipe to see if I make it at home, thanks for sharing yummi!
