Early Morning

Woke up early today for some reason. The cats usually wake me up early but today I think the cool weather was calling my name.
I listened and am drinking my coffee in the screen room with the cats. The birds are very active and happy in the sunshine. So far that is all I hear. And the cool breeze goes perfect with my coffee.
Enjoying the moments of early morning. Life is short and I am savoring all that I can.
Hope you are all having a great day so far. Plans anyone?

i spent the morn trimmin' the grass 'round the front 'fter feedin' the ponies. then needed to fetch the wheelbarrow, rake 'n shovel to gather 't all'p to take to gomer (gomer pile, yup named my compost bin). been fightin' with the hubs puter (windows 10...i'd like to smack whoe'er invented that) 'n tryin' to catch'p with folks here coz i'd not the time fer much yesterday.

Well, you're in good company. I was up very early today as well. For me, it was my cats. That's O.K. it happens from time to time. My husband had an early start today as well. I had coffee with him then planned on going back to bed for about an hour or so but that never happened. Hopefully tonight I'll have a better night so that I can tackle all the projects on tomorrow's schedule.

We'll be working on an improvement to our big shed. We got some scaffolding yesterday and will be shifting lights and cabling today.
