The truth about my garden at Kaiser

Here's what my favorite planter actually looked like when I got to Kaiser for my Dr. appointment the other day. That's this past Winter's snow peas, brown and dead. I actually did bring a shovel and gloves to remove the old, before I planted the new. I have to stop by there later this week to pick up some meds, so I'll see if my silly sign is still there, and whether anyone bothered to water my seeds. Any bets on the watering question?

I think an illegal alien is allowed to use an illegal straw.

@JohnRoberts For bedding? My horse was a Conservative, but she still would have allowed illegals to sleep next to her without documentation. She was a materialist, but she was not mean-spirited.

Yikes, the heatwave attacked their snow peas. Lack of attention does that.

They do their best in Winter here, when it's cool (but not cold) and rainy. Green beans can handle the heat well, but you do have to water them.

@CarolDM Corn needs nitrogen. My corn is not doing that well, at home and at the preschool. I my need to get some nitrogen-rich fertilizer.

When I was a child on the South Side of Chicago, there was a dude whose name was...sacred. That name was Jeff Fort. I knew that he was leader of a street gang...

I think they put those planters out there years ago, when different departments too pride in "their" gardens. But over time...

@crazyhorseladycx What was once "a thing" became the past. Hey, if my two planters succeed, maybe other humans will follow suit.

Living here, I'm always hoping for rain. Even when it rained the day before.

I am pretty sure no one watered it, as they all figured "someone else" will do it.

I'll go for them having been watered. I've very trusting that way.

That sign was not silly! And yes I believe some good soul came by and doused them with a little water (or urine) to wet those seeds. All people are not bad.

I'm hoping there re a handful who are intrinsically good. And I hope nobody pissed out there. The smell, overall, is good on that balcony.
