I've seen it too many times. A child running around a restaurant, bus stop, grocery store, etc. The younger they are, the worse it is. It only takes a second for them to disappear.
Apparently a child at the Atlanta airport yesterday thought the conveyor belt taking luggage was a new kind of playground ride. He is 2-years-old. By the time all was said and done, he fortunately only had a hand injury.
Now for you Mom's out there with young kids, there's a product called a dog collar and leash. Apparently you need to buy one.

Well good thing the kids got away with only a minor injury. Just to help this also includes Dads. As for the dog leash, that has annoyed me since the first time I seen one. My first thought about it is, parents, don't be so lazy and stupid, pay attention to your kid and teach them not to wonder off without you. For me it was just another thing to help parents not do their job.
Parents, you had the kid whether it was planned or not, whether it was something you wanted or not, your there now, do your damn job and be a parent.

We were raised differently than the kids today @Bensen32 . It really angers me when I see kids running all over the place and the parents are oblivious.

@nanette64 Agree, I have even said things to parents before in the store or something. They usually say nothing but give me a dirty look and that's okay. Just get your head out of your butt and take care of your kids.

@nanette64 I know that this may happen, even to the best mom in the world. The two kids of my neighbor were playing in the garden, one took a large rock from the garden and threw it right on the head of his daughter. They were lucky she was not hurt seriously. He only wanted to play, not to hurt her.

@LadyDuck It's a miracle we all make it passed the age of 10.

Don't tell anybody but one time I ran into the grocery store to buy 1 item and left the car running with my daughter inside. She decided to play with the gear shift and the car backed up and hit another parked car. She was 3. Who would have thought? After that? Trust me; she was by my side @LadyDuck .

@nanette64 Quite true. They can be super quick. So much can happen in a sec.

It only takes a second. That's how some kids wind up drowning in swimming pools too @dodo .

I'd rather be charged with abuse versus having my kid run into traffic and get hit by a car @crazyhorseladycx .

@nanette64 Are you saying you would use a leash on a child?

It's how you raise them. If you do it correctly, you don't need a leash @evans777 .

At least she wasn't on her cell phone; which would have ticked me off even more @sol_cee .

Yeah I saw alot of kids at the grocery store a few days ago. A leach would help.

I understand. Sometimes it is because of extra naughty kids and sometime because of careless mothers.

No it's not @Starkinds . My mother had 6 kids; 2 years apart. But trust me; back then, when you were told "NO! stay close", you followed orders regardless of your age.
