Arugula can make, for me, the difference between a rather boring salad and something full of life. Just a small amount of arugula will do the trick. I have to place them on the table by my side, as a dressing, because Leticia cannot stand its bitter flavor. I have been planting, little by little arugula in a couple of containers in the garage. When I eat up one container, I plant another one. Now I just planted the last winter arugula (I think that the next batch will have to be when I return from my vacations). I covered the container with some newspaper sheets. That will keep them from freezing. The seedlings come out in a few days so I will have to be in the look out to uncover them and maybe place some plastic over them if needed. Do you plant veggies in containers? Do you plant veggies or herbs in winter? I am learning a whole different kind of gardening tthat is Luna proof.
