Today was good. I got up late, 3 instead of 2:30, so I was a little late getting out the door for the Y, but still got there before the door opened. It was light at the pool this morning. Only three of us for most of the first hour.
The fitness center was good too. With the barometric pressure over 30 today, I felt the pressure in my knees a lot more. I gave myself the same workout I've been doing for the past several days. With one exception. I moved the bar on the leg press closer so my knees have more of a bend to them. I haven't been able to do that ever. So it feels good that I came down a notch. Something is happening with those thighs.
Rock painting was a lot of fun even if I am known as the rock thief now and @JohnRoberts saw my picture on the Post Office wall of most wanted rock thieves.
I took a rock over to my son's and gave it to my future Daughter-in-Law. She liked it. 
Then it was home to eat and start interacting. I was doing good for a couple of hours, then had to stop to get set up for the small group. I had the table up when I got a phone call. A look at messages also told me no one was coming tonight. No sitters. So, I put the table down and came back here.
Being the first of the month, I decided to get points on SB. I did okay for a change with surveys. That doesn't normally happen. My friend down the hall stopped by with a friend who is thinking about moving in and wanted to have a look at my apartment. It's a little different from hers as I have an end apartment and is a little bit bigger. It also has four windows. Two in the master bedroom.
It took longer than expected to get back here and I'm down to where I basically started this morning when I opened the computer for the first time with 111 notifications. I am ending the night with 108 left. I have no plans for tomorrow, so I should get caught up again.
I also didn't get any work done on my book or watch any television. It's going on 9 PM and I have a date with the pool in the morning. So, I'm going to say goodnight and I'll see you bright and early, my time, tomorrow morning. You all have a great rest of your day, wherever you are.

Today I did not get my scheduling done for the month so that is the top priority for me tomorrow. I love that photo and a very clever idea for a restroom. Hope you have a relaxing night.

Wow that many notifications!!! I understand now why it was difficult for you to catch up. Sounds like a very hectic month for you. My first day was okay. Just a little trepidation with one of my sites, but I'll probably check on it tomorrow, for going home soon after I play some games. So far got to go to jury duty on Monday, 8AM call and I'm not a morning person!

I went to a State jury duty call last year and there were lots of us, so they choose others and not me so got sent home from the first day when they broke for lunch. Got paid for it too, $35. Federal jury duty pays $50 for it, and it's an early call of 8AM...thank heaven Walmart is open at 5AM, just in case you need something.
(Anyway, got to call one last time Fri. today after 5:30PM, to check if it's still on...so far though it's on.)

I see. I didn't get chosen today, whew! But will get paid for the day. Now all that's left is my tooth extraction and other doctor appointments. I'm so glad you're feeling better too! Got an eye doctor appointment that I got to change hopefully, so I can get my glasses easier. My optometrist closes earlier in Sept. so I'm going to try to get my eye exam pushed up so I can see my optometrist in Aug. too. The foot doctor for my ingrown toenail and my tooth extraction this month. Sooooo much. Everything else I'm okay with just the tooth extraction is worrying me a bit, but must do it to get my new partials in Oct, when my Duo Complete gives me $2500 until Dec. Then in Jan. I get another 2500.00 for the year. It's a good deal I got especially for my dental coverage. 
But will get paid for the day. Now all that's left is my tooth extraction and other doctor appointments. I'm so glad you're feeling better too! You had a full and busy day. We stayed at home and I attempted to put my house in order a bit. I got a little bit done, but not all. That building looks neat. I was wondering what it was and you told us at the very end. Cool. I am holding at around 100 notifications also. Was on a bit more today but no headway.

I never went inside, but I understand they keep it clean. It's not a house but a restroom at the Botanical Gardens.

wowzers, that'd be some loo set'p there! ugh, that barometric pressure, i can truly empathize with ya. glad yer seein' positive progress with yer leg thingies. 'lways makes ya feel good when ya can not 'nly see results, but feel 'em, too.
i reckon that book's jest needin' to air a bit. when 'tis time, i've no doubts yer gonna get back to task.

@just4him oh dear :( does that mean no pool time either? do they a whirlpool? such might'a be helpful to've used. do ya have any epsoms salts? ya could make a small solution with water, soak a cloth'n such 'n put 'pon yer knee. the magnesium from such might help relieve that pain.

@crazyhorseladycx I'm going to need to buy Epsom salts. I'll be back in the pool tomorrow and the whirlpool/hot tub. The weekend was good on my knee despite the barometric pressure.

No workout this morning. Ibuprofen instead for the knee. My right is much worse than my left and gave me heck all night. It's still giving me heck and a look at the barometric pressure is a good reason why.
Yes, I'm very happy with my progress in the fitness center. I'm considering going to 80 reps on the leg press machine. We'll see on Monday.
